𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗬 𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

Departments in the County will now hold service delivery meetings once every month to assess challenges and provide solutions for key deliverables.

This was revealed by H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa while officially launching a Service Delivery meeting convened by the Chief Officer in charge of Service Delivery, Dr Phitalis Masakhwe, where attendees deliberated on projects that were to be implemented between July 2023 and December 2023.

Governor Barasa further called for combined effort to increase collection of own source revenue, aimed at surpassing the Ksh. 2.2billion target set for the county this Financial Year.

Ministries represented were Health services, Water, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, Agriculture, livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives, and Lands, Housing, Urban Areas and Physical Planning.

Others are Public Service and County Administration,Trade, Industrialization and Tourism, Education, Science and Technology, Social services and Finance, budget, economic planning, ICT and e-government.

Agencies present were Kakamega County Revenue Agency, KACWASCO, KACRUWASCO, Microfinance, Kakamega County Investment Agency (KCIDA), KDDC, County Public Service Board, among others.
