INSPECTION OF SPORTS FACILITIES AT BUKHUNGU STADIUM KAKAMEGA BY VIHIGA COUNTY DELEGATES

A delegation of senior officials from Vihiga County, led by Deputy Governor, Hon. Dr. Patrick Saisi today inspected sports facilities at Bukhungu Stadium Kakamega towards formalization of the venue as the home ground for national premier league debutants, Vihiga United FC.
Dr. Saisi who was conducted on a tour of the stadium by his kakamega counterpart, H.E. Hon. Professor Philip Kutima, expressed satisfaction with the stadium’s technical standards and instructed his team to immediately engage their Kakamega counterparts in negotiations towards formalization of the host agreement. Prof Kutima said Bukhungu Stadium had attracted many delegations from other counties for benchmarking. Also present were kakamega county Ag. CEC for Sports, Robert Sumbi and Chief Officer for Sports, Mohamed Kulubi.
Vihiga delegation consisted of Anne Rose Sudi, Chief Officer Sports, Director of Communication, Peter Atsiaya, among others.
