COUNTY MICROFINANCE AGENCY WELCOMES A NEW BOARD CHAIR

Former Shinyalu Member of Parliament Hon. Sylvester Anami Lisamula is the new Chairperson of the Kakamega County Microfinance Agency Board of Directors following his appointment by Kakamega Governor H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa.

On Thursday the former Legislator paid a courtesy call on Deputy Governor H.E Ayub Savula who welcomed him to the County and assured the Board of the Government’s support as it discharges its mandate of empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kakamega County through advancement of low interest loans to traders.

According to the DG who is also the CECM for Trade, Industrialization and Tourism, where the Agency is domiciled, the latter has an essential role of assisting in actualisation of Governor Barasa’s Wealth Creation and Social Development pillars.
