GOVERNOR BARASA RE-ELECTED COUNCIL OF GOVERNOR’S FINANCE COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON

The Governor of Kakamega County H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa, OGW., Monday in Nairobi, expressed his gratitude to fellow Governors for unanimously re-electing him as the Chairperson of the Finance, Planning and Economic Affairs Committee of the Council of Governors.

Governor Barasa, in his acceptance statement, said the Council has stamped a huge vote of approval and confidence in his leadership as the Chair of the Finance Committee for the past one year. He assured the people of Kenya of a more transformative leadership that will realize immense gains of devolution.

He also congratulated the Governor of Kirinyaga County H.E. Anne Waiguru, EGH, following her re-election to complete her term as the Chairperson of the Council.
