H.E. THE GOVERNOR CONDOLES FAMILY OF NOMINATED SENATOR HON. NAOMI SHIYONGA

H.E. governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya today joined hundreds of mourners in Shivanga ward, Malava Sub County to mourn the passing of Mama Josinah Were Sayia, the mother in law of Kakamega County nominated Senator, Hon. Naomi Shiyonga.

The governor accompanied by First Lady H.E. Priscilla Oparanya and Mrs. Carol Ambetsa reprimanded directors of Mumias Sugar Company for conspiring to sell assets of the company behind the backs of stakeholders. He vowed to involve cane farmers in efforts to stop the deal. 
He also conveyed condolences of ODM party leader Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga.

Other leaders present included the deputy governor H.E. Prof. Philip Museve Kutima, Senator Cleophas Malala, Area MP Hon. Malulu Injendi, Lugari MP Hon. Ayub Savula, Nominated MP David Osotsi, Deputy Minority leader, David Ndakwa, ODM Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna, Hon. MCAs and senior County government officials.
