INVOLVE THE COMMUNITY IN GOVERNANCE – OPARANYA TO ADMINISTRATORS

Kakamega County Administrators have once again been reminded to involve members of the public in County governance. This was underscored by H.E Governor Dr. FCPA Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya during a meeting with Sub-County and Community Area Administrators at the County Headquarters Thursday afternoon where he thanked the Officers for effectively discharging their mandate and representing the needs of the residents in the Government.

The Governor asked them to sensitize residents on County Government functions working in collaboration with National Government Administrators and other key stakeholders.

“Create a good relationship between the Government and the people, they are our employers,” he stated and explained that their functions are well articulated in the devolved units Act.
