KAKAMEGA CORONA VIRUS FUMIGATION EXERCISE KICKS OFF.

Kakamega County Goverment Wednesday evening begun a County wide fumigation exercise of the CBDs in main towns, market areas, bus parks and other business premises using fire engines and hand sprays. The exercise was officially launched by deputy governor H.E. Prof. Philip Museve Kutima in the presence of Health services CECM Rachel Okumu.

Prof. Kutima reminded residents to adhere to the directives and guidelines by the Ministry of Health on preventing spread of the virus in addition to the 7pm-5am curfew.

The deputy governor said the fumigation will be cascaded down to the rural areas with availability of funds and called on other willing well wishers to support the initiative.

County Secretary and Head of Public Service madam Jacinta Aluoch Odhiambo who is the co-ordinator of the exercise and County Police Commander Mr. Benard Muli were also present.
