KAKAMEGA COUNTY NORTHERN REGION OFFICE OPENED

The County Government of Kakamega will have a functional office in the Northern region of the County to enhance provision of services to the residents of Lugari, Likuyani and parts of Malava Sub-Counties.

The facility situated at Panpaper grounds in Lugari will be occupied by the Governor and his Deputy together with staff who will be at hand to attend to residents during normal office working hours. In addition to the office, the facility can also host the Governor, nightlong, in the event his duties call for it.

“This is a deliberate effort to enhance service delivery to residents of this region some of whom have had to travel more than 50 kilometers to seek audience with the Governor at the County Headquarters in Kakamega,” County CEO H.E Dr. FCPA Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya said after commissioning the facility.

The Governor also leveraged on his tour of the region to commission Mwamba-Lumakanda tarmac road that was constructed by the County Government.
