KAKAMEGA TO HOST NEXT YEAR’S SOYA AWARDS FETE

Kakamega County has been given the honours to host the 2022 Kenya Sports Personality of the Year Awards (SOYA).

Kakamega County Executive for Social Services, Youths, Women Empowerment, Sports and Culture Mr. Kassim Were accompanied by NOCK President and SOYA founder Mr. Paul Tergat successfully won next year’s rights for the County to host the fete in January, that will bring together over 1000 invited sports men and women.

Mr. Kassim Were delivered the wonderful news from Naivasha Saturday evening where he attended the event on behalf of H.E DR. FCPA Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya.
