KSH 108 MILLION PROJECT COMMISSIONED IN KAKAMEGA

H.E Dr. FCPA Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya, Kakamega County Governor, Thursday commissioned a Khs 108 million Lumino Dam Water project to supply the important resource to residents of Likuyani Sub-County.

The project that has a capacity of supplying 1.5 million litres of water per day is expected to address water shortages in the area. It will serve 5000 households.

Dr. Oparanya said the County Government has allocated Ksh 7 million to connect the residents. Already over 20 households have been connected as well as two learning institutions; Ivugwi Primary and Secondary schools.
