LIKUYANI INDUSTRIAL PARK, MALAVA MILK PLANT EDGE CLOSER TO COMPLETION.

Chief Officer for Trade, Ms. Faith Gitira, led a team of technical officers from the county government on a site visit of the Likuyani Industrial Park and the Malava Milk Processing Plant to assess the progress of the two flagship development projects. She commended the contractors for the achievements realized so far, noting that both projects are steadily taking shape and will play a critical role in promoting industrialization, value addition, and economic growth,. across the county.

At the Likuyani Industrial Park, Public works Chief Officer, Mr. Pascal Were who is also the project manager, expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of the ongoing works, noting that the project has now reached the roofing stage and is approximately 70 percent complete. The inspection team also visited the Malava Milk Processing Plant, where the contractor is active on site and significant progress has been recorded, with the project now standing at about 80 percent completion.

Chief Officer for Technical Services, Mr. Issack Maalim, called on the contractors to expedite the remaining works, as completion timelines for the two projects are due. He said the two projects will be highly beneficial to residents, farmers, investors, and businesses, once operational.
