COUNTY, NATIONAL GOVERNMENT ENGAGE ON COMPLETION OF BUKHUNGU STADIUM

Kakamega County Governor H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa on Friday held a meeting with the Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Sports and Arts Hon. Ababu Namwamba in Nairobi.

The deliberations were centred on the collaboration between the two levels of Government with an objective of completing construction of Bukhungu Stadium.

The team agreed on an implementation plan, that will see the National Government inject Ksh 2.9 Billion towards completion of the project. It is envisaged that the stadium will play a vital role in actualising Governor Fernandes Barasa’s Social Development agenda that targets among others, supporting and promoting talents through establishing of such important facilities across the County.
